January 19, 2024: Release of Joe’s third solo album, Pins on the Map. Available on all streaming platforms and as physical CDs. Lots of fingerstyle guitar tunes on his Lowden O-50, several tracks on his classical guitar, two tracks on his tenor uke, and one track on his keyboard.
From York Calling‘s Jane Howkins: “Open Road is our first introduction to Joe’s work, but he’s so talented, that I’m sure we’ll be sharing more of his stuff soon! It’s an instrumental number, seeing Joe utilise his acoustic guitar to the highest measure. The track is folky at times, but it also leans into a few other genres, making for something that appeals across the board. The main guitar melody progresses in a lovely way as the piece progresses, showing just how skilled Joe is! This is a delightful piece of music which you must check out!”
Joe will be performing on Sunday April 16, 2023 from 2-3pm at the Artisan Guitar Show! He is presenting a boutique guitar by Bil Mitchell.
